Ellen Youngman
A talented and meticulous designer, Ellen has been brandcrafting at Gardner Design for more than seven years.
Her ability to collaborate with clients, understand their long-term goals and turn that knowledge into meaningful and effective design leaves them coming back for more. Her expertise for identity work is demonstrated by years of effective results and publication in several books in the LogoLounge Book series. More and more, she’s been delving into environmental and immersive events design and loves how design can truly transform a space into an experience.
Ellen is involved with local art and design associations, including speaking on branding and identity design for AIGA Wichita, critiquing design student portfolios, and participating in exhibitions and public art. She is also a published children’s book illustrator with one such book, Coco, Snow!, recently being named a 2025 Kansas Notable Book.
At home, you’re likely to find Ellen either going on a nice long run or working on her latest children’s book while hanging with her graphic designer husband and her son.
